Some Issues facing the Development of Large Scale Data Storage Services for UK Science

David Corney - This talk will explore some of the problems faced when developing Peta-scale data storage Solutions for large communities from a wide range of scientific disciplines. It will describe some of the hard lessons we learned & how we tried to improve our processes, as well as describing our current perspective on the future, and outline our plans to try to find the best way to develop and evolve new Added value services in a world of shrinking resources.
